When Will They Ever Stop???????????????
The dog, known as Kiwi, was believed to have been hurt by metal traps set for wild boars . A vet had to amputate the remainder of its leg. According to Gandhi, the greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated. What do such inhumane, ruthless acts say about my nation I wonder!!!!!!

How can anyone ill treat aniamsls is beyound belief,Only this week in the UK 2 POLICE DOGS
ReplyDeletewere found dead in a closed up police car. They died of heat as we have been for once having hot weather,.
Yvonne.
Thats really sad.The policemen's actions would have been seen as a sign of ignorance or negligence wouldnt it.I doubt it was deliberately done.Well, at least I hope so.Yvonne, when are you going to Spain?
ReplyDeleteA lot of dogs get put down in this country every year, "put down" is another way of saying killed. There is a lot of cruelty in the meat and dairy industry, which I won't go into.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, a lot of people do a lot of good work to save dogs every year. Just as the vet and others did to save Kiwi.
I used to volunteer at SPCA and I have seen strays being put down if no one adopts them within 3 months.I cant blame the shelter. Lack of funding and space could be seen as justified reasons and most importantly thats the only way they could alleviate the pain and sufferings of these unwanted strays.
ReplyDeleteThat's terrible!
ReplyDeleteHumanity is on the verge of a crash is all I can say. I am happy that you write on such topics, its very essential and makes one realise that time has come to gear up to make the future worth living.
ReplyDeleteI was dumbfounded when I read these heart wrenching stories.Imagine waking up to such stories daily. And such news have been making headlines over the recent weeks.I am deeply disturbed.I decided to blog about these issues as it was my way of raising awareness.Thats the least I could do for the animal kingdom.
