Eat Pray Love

"The resting place of the mind is the heart. The only thing the mind hears all day is clanging bells and noise and argument, and all it wants is quietude. The only place the mind will ever find peace is inside the silence of the heart. Thats where you need to go."

  1. Hi. Thanks for visiting and following my blog. I love yours. I couldn't stop thinking about that young girl all night. I am really worried about her, I suppose all I can do is extend a hand of friendship and hope she listens to well meant advice.

Glad you have enjoyed your trip. Safe journey home

  2. But how do we quiet it all? How can we find peace in our heart if we don't have peace in our mind? In emotional, sensitive people (most of us?), the heart and mind are so intertwined that the bells of one go into the other. It seems that we need to holistically find or create that quiet.

  3. April Ellis- I hope she contacts you.Looks like you would be her guiding star if she does.Sometimes thats what lost souls need.A kindred soul to guide them.

Karla- Glad to see you here...cheerful :)

Rebellious- Very true.It would be a challenging task to holistically create that quietude.Hope to tackle this challenge soon though :).

  4. love that book! it's what got me started traveling. you're right about the taiwanese. i've never met more giving people anywhere.
bed time now but i'll check out your blog tomorrow morning :) Megan

  5. Thank you so much for your comment on my blog. I appreciate your condolences.

  6. The problem is humans live too much in their minds. Give it a rest. (You don't want to wear it out.) Thanks for the nice quote.
